Charles Finney was the single most effective nineteenth-century Evangelist. One rejects the notion that anger is a sin by pointing out the fact that the Apostle Paul plainly said, “be angry and {yet} do not sin.” Another ridicules the claim that the true Gospel is rapidly gaining converts around the world.
