Some Things Are Hidden Right Out in the Open
In this article, the author continues an explanation
he began in response to a Question in “Questions
& Answers.” His purpose is to show how
translators today are ignorant of the meaning of the
Hebrew Scriptures because they are blindly accepting
the Jewish interpretation of the text by following the
Masoretic vocalization of the consonantal text. The
point of the passage is presented in his translation
of 1 Samuel 2:27–36, where he shows how the text
specifically speaks concerning the priesthood of Jesus
Christ.
The Forecast
The purpose of this column is to explain various
weather-related parabolic images that relate to the Last
Days and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The “
forecast” in this edition raises the question as
to whether the world might be “sliding off into
the ‘time of distress that hasn’t been seen
since there was a nation until that time.’”
The author indicates he doesn’t “give a good
rip” whether it is or is isn’t, since that
is not what “those with insight” will be
concerned about.
Questions & Answers
The first Question in this set of “Questions and
Answers” answers a question as to whether the author
will ever make his translation of the biblical text
available for purchase. In response, he goes off
on a tangent in which he reveals why it impossible to
ever “finish” an accurate translation.The
second Question concerns the author’s seemingly
unusual translation of Galatians 2:16. The final Question
concerns parents’ responsibility for teaching
children.
